Academic Tutor: Work Requirements

The academic tutor will have the following responsibilities:

• Teach students between 1st to 10th std. at a community centre or shelter home
• Timely coordination with Project Manager
• Accordingly, planning and executing sessions to ensure individual and group learning
• Focus on students analytical skills
• Conduct practical sessions through experiential learning e.g. extempore, presentations, group work, role-plays, etc.
• Conduct a regular assessment to gauge the progress of the students

• Ensure personal mentoring for students to help in problem/doubt solving

• Conduct post-course assessments to gauge the effectiveness of the tuition and learning progress of the students

• Create monthly planners and schedules for completing the syllabus
• Complete daily reporting after every class to track the progress
• Mandatory attendance for all monthly peer sessions
• Need to be fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.

• Mandatory attendance for all training sessions organised for tutors

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week

Salary: ₹5,000.00 – ₹8,000.00 per month
