Addison Grace Design is an exciting environment where creativity and beautiful design light up our clients’ world. We are looking for an Architectural Technologist to grow with the company. You will be responsible for assisting the Interior Designer, creating floor plans, construction documents, elevations, renderings, and design packages.

This position is part time leading to full time.

What the Architectural Technologist does:

• Assisting the Interior Designer
• Completing floor plans, elevations, and renderings
• Create and complete permit ready drawings
• Completing specification requirements
• Keep current on local and national building code, bylaws, and industry standards
• Manage communication and answer emails
• Prepare and organize databases, reports, and spreadsheets
• Handle customer and employer information confidentially
• Schedule meetings, manage calendar, and appointments
• Manage filing systems, update records, and organize documentation
• Create and prepare sales and presentation materials
• Online research for materials and sources for presentations
• Assist with online marketing, website updates, social media, copywriting, etc…

What the successful candidate will bring:

• 1+ years experience in the design and/or construction industry
• Be tech savvy and organized!
• Be able to work autonomously and as a team
• Professionalism and attention to detail
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and presentation skills
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Cloud based services, and other technology tools
• Sketchup experience is required
• High School Diploma is required
• Interior Design Technology Diploma, Architectural Technology, or similar is preferred

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Salary: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
