AV Programmer/Site Engineer: Duties and Job Responsibilities
Skills Requirements
Ability to maintain program version control and adhere to configuration management.
Experience reading wiring diagrams and system design drawings.
Troubleshoot new and legacy systems, hardware cabling and components.
Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
Solid knowledge of audio visual connectivity and signal flow.
Understanding of AMX/CRESTRON programming cause/effect impact on overall audio visual systems.
Extensive knowledge of RS232/422/485 and IP based control protocol products.
Strong system evaluation, system testing, documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
1+ years of professional audio visual technology experience.
1+ years programming experience in AMX/CRESTRON/Extron control system source code and touch panel interface with deep working knowledge of Polycom, Clear One, Biamp, and Projectors, AMX/Crestron AV gear, and others.
AMX Programmer 1 Certification and 1 – 2 years of AMX coding experience.
InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Certification
