Business Development Executive
Company Background – Packaging Company
Salary Range : RM 3000 – RM 5000
– 5 days week
– Car & petrol allowance
– RM500 incentive for each closed account
The primary objective of the Business Development Executive is to proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
Job Specific
l To maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers.
l To identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
l Possessing deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition.
l To negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements with potential customers.
l Get an understanding from the customer on what their packaging needs are, and whether their products requires customisation. This could include, but is not limited to, what kind of glass bottles/jars they need, a customised logo, whether they need a plastic or metal caps, etc.
l Working closely with the Technical Designer to determine what product(s) would be suitable for the customer’s needs, and providing these recommendations to customers.
l Preparing quotes for recommended product(s), based on the total costing details including freight costs, product costs, etc., which can be obtained from the Supply Chain and Customer Service Support Team.
l Providing credit terms to new and potential customers.
l Following up with customers at each point of the business development cycle.
l Visiting customer sites on a regular basis, or as required.
l Issue resolution, ensuring email enquiries, and phone calls are attended to in a timely manner.
l Ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
Requirements
l At least three (3) years’ experience working in a similar role.
l Qualification in either Marketing, Business Administration or similar.
l Experience working in a fast moving customer centric environment.
l Strong listening and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals.
l Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia with proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: RM3,000.00 – RM5,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
