Commis Chef: Job Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow the directions of a more senior Chef to measure and prepare ingredients
- Ensure that mis en place is completed
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Maintain-food quality and minimize the food wastage
- Receiving deliveries and rotating stock
- Ensure and adhere strict safety, hygiene and sanitation of the kitchen
