Role Description.
- Convert content in the source language to equivalent concepts in the target language (English – Arabic and vice versa)
- Compile technical terms and information terms into glossaries and terminology
- Write fluently, read and speak at two languages.
- Leave the tone and style of the original language unchanged
- Apply cultural knowledge to produce a meaningful translation of the original message
- Convert ideas in the source language to equivalent ideas in the target language
- Compile information and terminology to be used in translations
- Proofread, edit, and revise translated materials.
Coordinator cum Arabic English Translator: Job Requirements
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: AED5,000.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
- Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
- Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
- Good hand in MS office suite – mainly Powerpoint, Word & Excel
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
