Rosewood Counselling & Psychotherapy is a growing private practice in Port Moody, BC seeking to make a powerful impact in the greater community. We provide trauma-informed, culturally-competent, inclusive and anti-oppressive care and draw from humanistic and systemic therapeutic modalities.

We’re currently seeking an associate who is curious, empathetic, compassionate and non-judgemental, someone who takes a biopsychosocial/holistic, humanistic/relational or systemic approach to therapy. We provide

• Office space in Suter Brook Village, Port Moody
• Advertising (website, Psych Today, Counselling BC, Google)
• The Jane App (easy scheduling, booking, charting, billing)
• Monthly case consultation group
• Administrative or operational services (The Jane App, reception, facility maintenance)

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, or related
• Must hold and maintain professional membership with the BCACC or CCPA (if you’re in the process of obtaining registration and believe Rosewood could be a good fit, please reach out)
• Two years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a curious, empathetic, compassionate and non-judgmental attitude

Requirements

• Ability to provide online and in-person services in Port Moody
• Ability to be self-managed and motivated
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and 1 weekend day
• Minimum monthly supervision from a qualified Clinical Supervisor (we can provide recommendations)
• Professional and Commercial Liability Insurance

Preffered

• Biopsychosocial/holistic approach to therapy.
• Humanistic, relational or systemic approach to therapy.
• EMDR Certification (or in progress) an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 17-20 per week

Salary: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
