Job description
Document Scanning Operator
Position Overview:
-Responsible for the scanning of paper documents based on client specific requirements.
-Assists in document imaging operations by validating, prepping, indexing, scanning and conducting quality checks on all discharges and loose material received while maintaining departmental productivity and accuracy standards. Maintains scanning equipment properly.
Duties and Responsibilities :
-Operate imaging tools for use in the creation of electronic files or archives.
-Prepare, scan, and perform quality checking of documents/images being converted to electronic/digital format.
-Ensure proper transfer and indexing of images.
-Troubleshoot and adjust equipment when necessary.
-Clean and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
-Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
-Complete jobs before due date.
-Keep work station clean and organized
-Maintain departmental efficiency standards relating to volumes and service levels
-Interact with other team members as necessary to accomplish goals
-Must strictly follow workflow process and chain of command
-Perform all other duties as assigned by management
-Train or assist other associates on aspects of processing
-Recognize and report problems and issues typical to equipment and given processes
Requirement:
-Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm
-6 working days: Monday to Saturday
-Overtime if required
-Able to travel outstation.
-Age between 21 to 35 years old.
-Able to start in a short time.
-Education level minimum SPM.
-Understand English & Malay Language.
-Must be a person with responsibility, hardworking, honest and in healthy condition.
-Required driving license: B2 or D
-Must have own motorcycle or car.
-Preferably minimum one year experience as document scanning operator or related tasks.
