MEC Academy& Training Centre is currently supporting a virtual work environment; however, this is a contract position and is only open to candidates residing in European & South American time zones.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHER: Job Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
Hourly pay RM30 to RM50/hour / Daily pay RM130 to RM150/day
- English teachers for short-term English Camp (2 – 3 months only)
- Working from 5 Dec 2022 – 24 Feb 2023 (or min. 4 weeks)
- Work hours: Mon – Fri, 8am to 4pm. (Weekends OFF)
- WORK AREA: EDUCITY, NUSAJAYA.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**)
- MUST BE A CLEAR, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATOR with near native-speaker accent / neutral accent (Preferred)
- Cert/ Diploma/Degree in TESL / TESOL / English Language / English Literature / Education or similar field (Preferred but not necessary)
- Language faculty undergrads in any university looking for internship welcomed to apply.
- Candidates without a teaching degree but with sufficient ENGLISH TEACHING experience and passion will be given consideration.
- Previous experience as an ESL teacher or similar role
- Knowledge of various methods of teaching English to non-native speakers
- Pleasant disposition and well-groomed
- Extremely mature and calm with a resilient personality
- Resourceful, problem-solver and flexible
