English Teacher : Job Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
ENGLISH TEACHER (PART TIME)
FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY!
Details:
- Working day & time; 4-5 days in a month
(weekday, 4pm – 9pm)
OR
(Weekend, 10am- 3pm)
- Location: Kuala Lumpur, Willing to travel to
1.Broadway Academy, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur
2.SkooLab Academy, Plaza Arkadia, Kuala Lumpur
- Possess own transport
- Salary Range: RM 600.00 – RM700 (4-5 Days)
- Teachers will be put on probation for 3 months after the training period. The teacher will get a permanent job at Teras Murni Education Group Sdn. Bhd. once they have passed the probation period.
Job Requirements:
- Good communication and written skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree, Advanced Degree in Education or equivalent.
- 1 Year of Experience Or,
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Own a personal computer and transportation.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
- Candidate must demonstrate good team spirit in the company and be able to foster friendly relationship with teachers, parents and students.
Job Descriptions:
- Familiar with Cambridge, IGCSE and Singapore syllabus.
- Establishing and enforcing rules of behaviour for students in the classroom.
- Preparing lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives.
- Establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, units and projects.
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
- Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths.
- Creating, assigning and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays and projects.
- Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention.
- Tracking and evaluating student academic progress.
- Leading parent-teacher meetings.
- Maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, co-workers and supervisors.
- Managing student behaviour.
- Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicating regularly with parents.
- Helping students improve study methods and habits.
- Administering tests to evaluate students’ progress.
Skills
- Ability to develop lesson plans and successfully instruct students in theories, methods and tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others and clearly express complex ideas.
- Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to students’ various learning needs.
- Knowledge of appropriate learning psychology, styles and strategies.
- Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Advanced technology skills to track student attendance and grades and present creative lessons.
- Leadership skills and patience for working with students of all ages.
