Junior Graphic Designer: Job Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. Working hours are 10am-6pm Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities for Graphic Designer
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as comply with brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software. You must have working knowlegde of – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
Qualifications for Graphic Designer
- Certification in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, & InDesign.
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Shortlisted candidates will have to submit the results of a design task to proceed further.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: RM2,000.00 – RM2,500.00 per month
