POLIKLINIK PAVILION is currently supporting a virtual work environment; however, this is a contract position and is only open to candidates residing in European & South American time zones.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT/CLINIC ASSISTANT: Job Requirements

Essential Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care at the clinic.
• Dispenses medications to patients based on doctor’s prescription.
• Clinical procedures: Chaperoning doctors/Assisting doctors in clinical tasks such as dressing, blood taking, and ECG.
• Assists during Specialist clinics (ENT, Endocrine and etc…)
• Drafts and submits panel claims accordingly.
• Updates and documents medical care given to patients.
• Follow up with patients: Send reminders to patients regarding their vaccination/medical check-up appointments.
• Maintains good file-keeping and patient records.
• Responds to patient inquiries and answers phone calls.
• Inventory management: Stock-keeping and assists in ordering products.
• Assist with COVID-19 vaccination: Arranging appointments for the vaccinees, registration, preparation of materials, assisting patients to complete consent forms, and etc.

Qualifications/Education and Requirements

• SPM, STPM, Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Medical Assistant, Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences. (or other equivalents)
• Experience working in clinic or hospital settings is preferred. (but not compulsory)
• Self-disciplined, mature, responsible, organized, and a team player with high integrity.
• Willing to learn, and able to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in other dialects will be an added bonus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information in accordance with State and Federal law.
• Candidates who can begin working within short notice are preferred.
