Education Qualification for .NET Developer Work:
Candidates must have BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field or additional qualifying experience.
1-3 years combined experience as an analyst-developer on various technologies in a large project environment, including client/ server applications, relational databases, web-based applications and data warehouse applications.
1+ years experience writing complex SQL in a RDMS.
1+ years experience developing .Net applications and/or services.
1+ years experience developing applications that connect cross-database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience developing or maintaining operational systems and applications in an Object-oriented development environment (i.e. Java/C++).
Experience with modern development practices and libraries including: AJAX, JavaScript (i.e. JQuery, Angular), MVC, HTML5, SOAP/REST.
Experience working with a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including participation in the entire process (requirements and analysis through testing, implementation and closeout).
Ability to communicate with all technical skill levels (entry level to skilled).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor content and delivery based on the target audience, possessing excellent technical and business writing skills.
Strong business ethics and Ability to work independently and as part of a professional technical team.
Work Details: The .NET Developer (SCADA-IMS) will be responsible for supporting SPU’s SCADA (Supervisory Control and DATA Acquisition) Data Warehouse and supporting systems; they will also provide critical analysis, development expertise, and system support.
