Pharmacy Assistant : Job Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
Asalammualaikum and Hai from AuroraOne Pharmacy (TTDI JAYA, Shah Alam)
Responsibilities, Duties and Requirements: –
✅ Customer Service & Sales
✅ Inventory Control
✅ Management of Outlet/Pharmacy
✅ Assist pharmacist and pharmacy technician to process prescriptions
✅ Greet customers and answer basic questions
✅ Be familiar with stocked medications
✅ Advise customers on basic drug information and interactions
✅ Refer to pharmacist for more complex inquiries
✅ Input customer and prescription information into the computer system
✅ Type and print out prescription labels
✅ Help gather and bag prescriptions and deliver to customers
✅ Answer phones in a professional manner
✅ Attend to emails
✅ Take and track inventory, restocking when needed
✅ Assist in organizing and shelving medicine
✅ Accept and process deliveries
✅ Frequently clean and organize work space
✅ Assist with billing needs
✅ Manage cash register and complete transactions
✅ Report any major issues to head pharmacist.
✅ Able to carry out shift work
✅ Able to work on weekends and public holidays
✅ Able to work long hours
Qualifications and Skills: –
– Diploma in Pharmacy / Nursing / Lab is an advantage;
– Candidates – waiting for placement of housemanship (bachelor degree of Medicine) or PRP – waiting for placement in hospital/retail are highly encouraged to apply;
– Previous experience of working in clinic /pharmacy is an advantage and experience in healthcare field will be an added advantage;
– Good personality, love to interact with customers;
Working schedule: –
