FUNCTION: Finance Procurement

SALARY RANGE: RM1,500 only

LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Day to day for incumbent revolves around managing sourcing requests coming from BUs within BAT in COUPA platform and liaising with vendors. It’s a high-volume department where plenty of sourcing requests coming from business which requires them to be agile, hands-on and able work in fast paced environment.

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: APME

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Support the negotiation processes of goods and/or services required by tactical stakeholders ensuring compliance to landscape and purchasing policy.
• Source for the best suppliers available in the market ensuring that the terms of the deal are favorable for the company on criteria.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of the information required by the Local and Regional.
• Coordinate and evaluate the performance of suppliers to ensure that the needs of the organization in terms of goods and services are met.
• Ensure visibility (through the Purchasing system) on the price list negotiated with suppliers, contracts and SLAs.
• Provide support in update the procurement system with price agreements, suppliers, payment terms and delivery times.
• Track and supervise purchase orders to provide the necessary information to stakeholders.
• Daily reviews of the demand requested by the end users and update the system upon receipt of requirements.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Related Fields.
• Good handle of MS Office Suite.
• Willing to learn and has positive attitude with good communication.
• Ambitious and agile individuals with strong leadership capabilities through extra-curricular activities.
