Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Advising the Project Manager in the planning, designing and coordinating on civil, structural and mechanical engineering matters.
- Assist in design, drawings and drafting in preparation of project budgeting and project feasibility study.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants and contractors pertaining to project activities.
- Assist in value management to enhance cost optimization in compliance with the required quality.
- Preparation of project costing/ administration of contract and letter writing.
- Coordinate with project teams in administering contractual claims such as variation orders, extension of time, loss, expenses, etc.
- Responsible for contract administration tasks and site procurement control.
- To evaluate the progress claim received from the subcontractors and supplier final account.
- To inspect and monitor at all times each stage of the construction works including piling, structural and architectural works, mechanical and electrical works, external works and the infrastructure works.
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a Degree/Advance Diploma/Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Building Management or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiar with project development process and procedures.
