A new state of the art Psychology and Psychiatry Clinic in Dubai, DMCC is looking for Child/ Adult Psychiatrist to join the team.

License: Active DHA licensed, DHA eligibility letter

Essential Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to Children AND/OR Adolescents, Adults with mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders.
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.
Conduct regular follow-up appointments to monitor the patient’s progress.
Manage, monitor and review a caseload through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and testing
Prescribe and administer medications according to diagnosis
Monitor patients to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medications
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Ensures the range and level of interventions, treatments and activities complies with relevant regulations
Advises and informs guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients’ conditions and treatment;
Builds a good rapport with patients and delivers effective feedback on progress;
Coordinate and communicate with case managers and other stakeholders about treatment and care
Complete records and all service monitoring requirements on time and to a high standard ensuring full compliance;
Contribute to the development of pathways within specialist areas and provide team guidance and training on suitable approaches.
Maintains a high standard of knowledge in the subject area and continues to update this knowledge by attending CPD courses, conferences and trainings
Attends team meetings, supervision sessions and training as required;
Referring clients to other healthcare professionals where appropriate;
Liaising with healthcare professionals as part of a health management team;
Other duties as may be delegated in line with the service provision.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
5+ years’ Psychiatry experience;
A PHD, PsyD or a minimum of a Master’s degree in psychiatry
COMPENSATION
Clinician compensation is based on fee-sharing model in which the clinic and clinician share fees collected from clients seen by the clinician. (Extra benefits to offered in case of Clinical Director Role)

Malpractice insurance
Shared, furnished office space for each clinician, and all required equipment and supplies like iPads, business cards, stationery, etc.
