Qualitative Research and Brand Strategy Job Description» Employment Opportunity in Clear Strategy , Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

• Looking for a freelance qualitative researcher (minimum 5 years experience) based in Malaysia, to lead a brand audit and market reearch project. Successful execution may lead to full time opportunity.Responsibilities:
  • Desk research and store visits across Klang Valley
  • Recruitment Screener and Discussion Guide creation (with input)
  • Focus Group Moderation (native English Malaysian required, BM preferable)
  • Quantitative skills will be appreciated – or you will need to work with a quantitative team for some of the project
  • Analysis and strategic reporting
  • You will work closely with business lead on this project, with extra support staff available if needed

  Requirements:

  • High empathy levels
  • Excellent proficiency in English language, both spoken and written
  • Expertise in qualitative market research;
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Consualtancy/strategic reporting experience and confidence
  • At least 5 years of working experience in consumer insights or market research
  • Extensive moderation experience (Focus Groups)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field, with preference for Statistics, Marketing, Mathematics, Sociology, or related;

  The project will run for approximately two-three months with start date in November, and should be considered as a part-time role. Strong potential to lead to full time position.
