Big City Movers Inc. is looking for a motivated and self-driven individual with many years of experience in the moving industry to become the regional manager for a selected area within the GTA. Previous marketing and sales experience is not required but would be preferred.
Candidates MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years driving experience of a 16-26ft box truck
- 3+ years moving experience
- Valid G license
- Access to a vehicle (you will be required to drive to different locations across the GTA)
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous marketing/sales experience (preferred but not required)
Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered for the position
The Regional Manager will be responsible for visiting pre-selected homes in their region to offer potential customers our moving services. You will be required to give customers a detailed and accurate estimate for their move and communicate our services in an effective but friendly manner. Once the customer agrees to use our services you will then be responsible for helping the customer move to their new home with one or two of our other movers.
As a sales rep, you will be responsible for visiting approx. 15-30 pre-selected homes per day conducting the tasks mentioned above. As a driver, you will be responsible for driving a 16-26ft truck as well as packing, moving and safely transporting household goods, and other heavy items while providing outstanding customer service to all Big City Movers Inc. customers. The driver should have prior experience operating large trucks as well as performing residential moves.

Hourly: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
