  Job Summary

  • SCRIPTS Asia is looking for people with experience transcribe Mandarin (Simplified Chinese).
  • The job is a contract position. You will be paid for each document you complete successfully.
  • SCRIPTS Asia provides online tools to facilitate scheduling and workflow management.

  Responsibilities

  • Transcribe the content of Mandarin business meetings.
  • The final product is time sensitive, so transcriber will need to work efficiently and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Investors depend on SCRIPTS Asia for accurate transcriptions of corporate meetings. Attention to detail is key to success in the role.
  • The work is seasonal, with peak demand occurring in March, April, August and September.

  Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in Mandarin transcription, preferably in a business context.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word document editing software.
  • Applicants will need to pass SCRIPTS Asia’s qualification test.
  • Excellent written Chinese skills.
  • Excellent general communication skills.
