The primary responsibility is to plan and implement effective Communication & PR strategies to proactively manage Prudential Malaysia corporate and brand image and serve as a rep from Brand & Communications team for Special Projects
This role requires a good grasp of the bigger picture to constantly reinforce our purpose and thought leadership, manage senior stakeholders (regional & local), including the CEO’s office and reporting (regional & local).PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
PR Strategy, Planning, Execution. Develop PAMB’s Corporate & PR strategies, implement and execute of the approved plans on both the traditional and digital space in support of the company’s objectives on the corporate front.
Media Management
Media & PR Events. Organise press conferences/briefings for corporate partnerships and/or other corporate-related events, etc
Media Interviews. Plan and arrange media interviews for PAMB’s Exco Members and/or designated company spokesperson to reinforce key corporate/brand/solutions messages.
Monitor media coverage for PAMB and main competitors and develop pro/re-active PR activities to ensure PAMB’s dominance in PR SOV.
Media Relations. Build and strengthen media relations for PAMB
Appearances & Speaking opportunities. Identify opportunities and facilitate PAMB’s Exco Members and/or designated company spokesperson to reinforce key corporate/brand/solutions messages.
Communications. Work closely with the Management or relevant departments in producing & editing communication materials for internal or external audience e.g. CEO’s messages, speeches, press releases, memos, PRU, fund report, etc.
PR Agency Management. Effectively manage partner agency and ensure the team deliver our communication plans successfully and in accordance to our objectives.
Development of brief, and jointly develop messaging house
Facilitate PCA approval and accurately transpire feedback with PR partners to refine communications.
CR. Leverage on corporate responsibly initiatives and other company initiatives to build thought leadership and to position PAMB as a socially responsible corporate citizen.
Internal & Agent Communication. Collaborate with various internal departments for successful Agency Kickoff, National Staff Comm, Mid Conferences and more – alignment on agenda, preparing of videos and presentation decks. Facilitate CEO and other Exco Members at key events incl. briefing, rehearsals, etc.
Special Projects. Rep for B&C on special projects such as Funds Initiatives, Medical Repricing and other projects deemed sensitive, working in collaboration with the appointed workstreams.
Business Continuity & Crisis Management. Rep for B&C in accordance to the outlined by the region and company.
Developing People. Facilitates the development of team members through personal involvement in coaching, mentoring and sponsorship while creating an environment that fosters learning, growth and development.
