SEO Content Writer: Job Requirements

Essential Responsibilities

CONTENT WRITER RESPONSIBILITIES: –

• Content writing such as articles and other types of content for web pages, FAQs and more

• Content translation from BM to English & vice versa

• Copywriting for the website or marketing campaigns run by the company

• Optimise content for SEO

• Researching the subject matter to position the product or service as being trustworthy.

• Generating content using SEO skills in order to optimize search results.

• Converting complex information into well-crafted articles that can be understood by the layman.

• Write conversion-focused content to sell products or services within ethical boundaries

• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.

• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.

• Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.

• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.

• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.

CONTENT WRITER REQUIREMENTS: –

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, arts, design, or related field.

• Proven content writing or copywriting experience is a bonus

• Working knowledge of content management systems.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Effective communication skills.

• Equipped with basic IT skills like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Proficient in reading and writing in BM and English (proficiency in Chinese is a bonus)

• Able to do independent research for assigned topics

• Passionate about writing, able to take in feedback and adjust accordingly
