SMT Technician: Job Requirements
- Installing SMT machines by connecting them to power sources and making any mechanical adjustments before using them
- Periodical Cleaning workstations and equipment before and after production runs to ensure that the assembly line is always ready for new work
- Working with engineers during new model adoption or troubleshoot existing products for defects
- Use new program to change the parameter setting and make sure the mounted parts is correct
- Productivity & quality improvement support
- Take record of daily maintenance and report to Production Engineering Manager
- Manufacturing efficiency Improvement
- Perform schedule machines maintenance
- Support production improvement activities.
- Continuous upgrading and improvement of existing machine.
- Supporting Engineer in equipment / product/ process evaluation
- Perform the daily Machine/ equipment maintenance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance as scheduled and ensure all machines are in good conditions
- Record machine down time and report to engineer.
- Trouble-shoot during machine breakdowns.
- Involve in production line continuous improvement activities.
- Assist engineers to create, modify, and test products and processes.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Entry-level SMT technicians are required to have a high school diploma or GED, or experience in the related field.
- On-the-job training will be provided for newly hired SMT technicians.
