Job description
We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced Obstetrics & Gynecologist to diagnose and treat patients’ gynecological conditions.
The Gynecologist’s responsibilities include:
Performing breast examinations, prescribing suitable medications, and identifying malignant tumors within the female reproductive system. You should also be able to advise patients on how to cope with the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause.
Specialist Obstetrics Gynecology : Duties and Job Responsibilities
Some of the Responsibilities include:
Performing annual and regular examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions.
Recording and updating patients’ medical histories.
Advising patients on suitable birth control options.
Performing various diagnostic tests on patients, which include Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies. · Explaining test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients.
Performing surgeries and gynecological procedures on patients, such as cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettages, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations.
Referring patients to other healthcare specialists as needed.
Educating patients on reproductive health issues and disease prevention.
Medical Centre requires the services of a professional and experienced Western educated Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. Her duties include general and specific assessment of patients, treatment and continued care including delivery for pregnant women and in-patient care of gynecological patients.
Required areas of expertise include management, monitoring and delivery of both low and high risk pregnancies, reproduction and infertility, out-patient gynaecological procedures like IUCD insertion, colposcopy and vulval biopsy as well as in-patient emergency and elective care for patients with gynaecological problems together with standard gynaecological surgery.
This is a new post designed to meet the increasing demand for an additional Ob-Gyn in our clinic.
Requirements:
To provide Obstetric and Gynecological care to patients according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgment at all times and in accordance with the Clinic’s best practice policies.
Participates in review and planning activities relevant to Ob-Gyn service and the clinic
Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the Ob-Gyn service and the clinic to the general public and wider medical community of Dubai and the UAE.
Fulfills professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Carries out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position.
Must have the ability to work well in a team environment, dedicated to the best interest of the patient.
Must have MOH License
