STEAM Teacher: Job Requirements
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From AED2,500.00 per month
Essential Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
STEAM Teacher with own visa, UAE license and car.
– with Education Degree
– with or without experience in the UAE
LOCATIONS:
Scholars International Academy, Sharjah
Dubai Scholars, Dubai
Clarion, Dubai etc. depending on confirmed booking
These are the job timings.
Job timings may be from 2:30pm to 4:00pm (this may change based on school’s closing time)
Maybe 4 to 6 times a week job, depending on our confirmed school or location booking
Day off is Sunday but it may be adjusted depending on schedule and/or teacher’s preference.
– to teach a STEAM activity with a small group of students for an hour or two in a different school or event locations.
Mostly Primary students
PLANNING – Weekly planning will be done collaboratively with us. Track children’s learning and activities using a google sheet. It will only be in form of a list.
Eg.
Week 3, Day 1
– Identifying chemical change
– Making a list of chemical change etc.
STUDENTS ASSESSMENT – write assessment and observation after each class, short general comments (e.g Achieved- He can identify verbs. Target – use exciting verbs in simple sentences.)
RESOURCES needed per class will be procured/prepared by the teacher. We have available resources bank/platform to be used. Receipts to be sent to us. Petty cash will be given to the teacher for procurement.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING- when required by the parents, a 5-minute meeting can be set but not during the class, within the teachers’ working hours
STUDENTS’ SAFETY
Students’ safety is our utmost priority. No child should be left alone during each tuition/STEAM time. In STEAM activities, children go to the toilet in groups. In case of emergency, contact us or the leader/nurse in the school.
1 week trial
Salary Increment based on performance. Depending on clients number this post may be a full-time job in the future.
Bonus can be given depending on the number of students/performance
There will be PDs/Training depending on the teacher’s needs
