Essential Responsibilities
Job Summary
What is my job responsibilities?
- Prepare conceptual design of 11kV to 275kV Substation Automation System (SAS) solutions.
- Design, parameterize, testing and commissioning system components such as BCU, SICAM PAS/AK3 Gateway and SICAM SCC HMI in SAS project.
- Prepare of detail hardware design for SLC/RTU/Disturbance Recorder Panel.
- Parameterize other Automation products such as RTUs and IEDs (including Protection) as required.
- Support on Design, Configuration, Testing & Commissioning of DFR / Power Quality System
- Oversee entire lifecycle of project execution (Design > Production > FAT > SAT)
- Manage and prepare project documentation (Drawings, Test Logs, ITP, MOS) as required.
- Provide project reports and other information to the management
- Conduct product trainings for customers and System Integrator (if required)
- Support Bid, Sales or Promotion Team in preparing related SAS technical documents.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Power System/Computer System Engineering or equivalent. Experience
- 3-5 years of working experience in Substation Automation System or SCADA related project
- Required Knowledge: Substation Automation System, Human Machine Interface (HMI), ICT (Computers and LAN), Hardware Panel Design, General power system
- Basic Project Management & Technical Writing Skill, IEC61850/Modbus Protocol
- Experience with SIEMENS SICAM product is a plus
Required Skills:
- Proficient in English and Malay (written and oral)
- Troubleshooting skills
- Good Public Relationship
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraint
- Work well independently and a good team player
- Willing to work at site an extended duration with minimal supervision
