As a part of Motherhood.com.my, Motherhood Story is not your typical parenting blog – we gather a group of experts, real mum’s experiences, corporate brands and many others to help solve common parenting solutions. With these simple solutions and tips, Motherhood Story aims to make parenting just a tad easier and a lot more fun to all parents.
Motherhood Story is currently looking for Sponsored / Branded Content Contract Writers. If you are interested and have good English writing skills while adept at interpreting briefs, keep reading for more information below!
What you will do:
- Write Sponsored/Branded SEO articles (advertorials) typically on parenting and/or family related content.
- Each assignment will require you to submit 2 outlines and an article draft per project, unless otherwise stated.
- Interpret briefs accurately to produce original content.
- Rework content based on feedback from stakeholders/clients.
- Use research to establish the strategy for reaching out to the target audience.
- Write in Motherhood Story’s voice and ensure that your articles are free of grammatical, spelling and factual errors.
- Source for relevant non-copyrighted and royalty-free images to be used in articles, before uploading your draft with images into our CMS (WordPress). You will be guided on this.
What is required from you:
- This is a remote role, either on a contract or freelance basis.
- Prior sponsored content/advertorial experience will be highly advantageous.
- Highly preferred if you are a mum or parent yourself. Do let us know if you are along with the age(s) of your child(ren) in your introduction!
- Malaysian applicants are preferred as you will need to be familiar with localised Malaysian content.
- A skillful wordsmith who is fluent in the English language – The Queen’s English only.
- Meticulous and very detail oriented – You can spot a missing comma from a mile away and are able to distinguish easily between British English and American English.
- Able to meet tight deadlines.
- SEO experience preferred.
- You spotted the intentional typos in this post easily.
