Content Editor : Job Responsibilities and Work Requirements
- Creating & packaging content that maintains Y Media’s brand voice while telling stories in a meaningful way.
- Must have knowledge about latest news – National and International
- Formatting and editing articles publication, broadcast or electronic media and recommend or make changes in content, style and organization.
- Ensuring all information is appropriately cited and factually accurate.
- Manage breaking news files and edit for accuracy, style and comprehension.
- Contact appropriate sources for exclusive interviews.
- Read, write and edit copy to be published or broadcast to detect and correct spelling, grammar and syntax errors, and shorten or lengthen documents as space or time requires.
Minimum Educational Qualifications Requirements : Content Editor
- Participate in all aspects of putting a print newspaper together, from concept and story pitching to feature writing and production. Maintain notes and audio recordings and transcribe them for stories.
- 1 year experience required in similar role.
- Must be Fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
