Driver Scheduler: Job Requirements
Essential Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Manage and planning of driver scheduling, to ensure that there are sufficient drivers/trucks
- Planning of backup or part-time drivers/trucks in the event of drivers not showing up or other reasons, or trucks breaking down
- Updating the schedule for any changes in the routes, or additional trips for campaign periods
- Communicate schedule to drivers, and coordinate with Linehaul supervisor in the sorting centres to ensure on-time arrival/departure
- Coordinate with the team on the planning of additional routes, including the allocations of drivers/trucks
Requirements:
- Preferably Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- Minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word , Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication in both Bahasa Malaysia & English
- Able to start immediately will be an advantage
- Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Quick learner, adaptable and flexible
- Able to work in a dynamic working environment
