Marketing Associate: Job Requirements
The Marketing Associate supports the day-to-day marketing and sales functions of the ReFa division of MTG USA. Day to day work will include marketing functions (such as e-commerce promotion planning, e-blast planning, upkeep of promotion lists, creating marketing materials, campaign coordination, etc. This role works closely with the creative director, copy writer, SEO/PPC analyst, and affiliate manager to execute promotions that enhance our online sales. This role also provides support to the sales function, such as use of online sales systems – EDIs – to track and manage orders and stock inventory.
Essential Responsibilities
Job Title: Part Time Marketing Associate
Marketing Planning & Execution Support
Create and upkeep marketing calendar, including all key dates and deliverables
Plan and update the monthly promotions and manage/liaise each promotion with partners under the supervision of Marketing Director
Assist with planning and execution of marketing events and provide onsite support
Marketing Asset Creation, Upkeep, and Inventory
Create highly formatted and accurate presentation materials such as campaign proposals
Gather and organize all creative brand assets for press releases and press kits, and coordinate printing of materials.
Track and maintain office inventory, such as ReFa samples.
Process marketing-related shipments and deliveries, fulfilling inventory orders, and paying invoices
Campaign Support
Plan and execute regular E-blast campaigns, including creating brief for graphic designer and communicating with partners throughout the campaign
Analyze E-blast performance and help plan subsequent campaigns based on results
Process updates and maintain the web-site in order to ensure continuous increases in revenue.
Support Gift With Purchase (GWP) program by executing creation meetings; contacting supplier to determine availability of products, negotiating pricing, and delivery timing; working with Creative Director on design; creating GWP proposal.
Marketing Liaison
Stay in constant communication with Marketing Director, Analyst and Marketing Strategist related to web-site sales, and then coordinate execution of suggested actions with other departments.
Work with Creative Director and Copy Director on development of creative assets.
Liaise with partners on product reviews, campaign sites, and affiliate programs.
Sales Inventory Management
Provide support to the Finance and Administrative Associate in the following:
Use of the sales (EDI) platform for receiving purchase orders, sending shipping notices, and issuing invoices.
Monitor and verify warehouse inventory of products including processing quarterly stock take results.
Track and monitor purchase orders and samples while they are en-route to ensure on time delivery.
Receive and process orders for shipment to stores by working directly with the logistics team.
Set up EDI platform in accordance with new customers
Investigate cause of non-compliance of shipment, and take measures to prevent recurrence
Support manager in the integration and migration of warehouses .
General Administration
Process filing of documents (both electronically and paper).
Monitoring and maintaining office supply stocks and placing orders.
Coordinate in person team meetings, including ensuring food and beverage orders are placed
Arrange for shipping of samples to partners.
