Purchaser: Work Requirements

• Responsibilities
  • Research potential vendors, compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate with Warehouse In-charge to review the receipt of purchased product such as quantity and quality
  • Enter vendor information and pricing into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Enter Vendor invoices into Quickbooks

  Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
  • Hands-on experience with purchasing software especially Quickbooks
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures and excellent negotiation skills
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis
  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field

  Job Type: Part-time

  Salary: ₹10,000.00 – ₹15,000.00 per month

  Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
