Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Actively engage at the store level in order to identify issues that could impact execution, and proactively recommend solutions to close gaps &/or capitalize on opportunities.
- Proactively report competitive data to the appropriate sales teams and retail teams to include point-of-sale programs, new item initiatives, promotional activity, problem/opportunity stores
- Achieve appropriate client retail product mix within territory stores by establishing key relationships with store management and promoting new items, new shippers, missing category items, recommending item deletions, ensuring compliance with client plan-o-gram, recommending opportunities to cross merchandise, creating displays and themes related to items to support holiday/special promotion events.
Qualifications:
A successful Sales Specialist will have:
- 2-3 years of Sales experience in CPG industry
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills (Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Ability to complete up to 8 hours shift while continuously walking, kneeling, crouching, standing and lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds from the floor to waist or chest high
General Availability Required: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
